You need translation about anything on the site, I also speak french very well. So don't be shy to ask! |
A man dressed in nondrescript brown robes comes to greet you: "Welcome Traveler. I am the sage Kell'Dharan Blackmoon you have just entered my workshop. For thousands of years I have wondered the multi-verse and gathered what knowledge I could from millions of sources. I imagine you are looking for some knowledge of somesort. Well, I'll be happy to help you."
He takes you down a corridor lit by torches in brackets space at regular intervals on the wall. Soon you enter a big laboratory. It is full of hundreds of potions, powders, a couple of books and other things, some of which you have no name for. All of it is neatly arranged in perfect cleanliness. (This can't be an ordinary wizard's workshop, it's actually clean.)
The man goes to a workbench and closes a book an pushes away a sickly-grren potion he had been working on. As you circle around the workbench, you accidently hit a metallic ink bottle which falls on the floor.
"I'm sorry, I...."
Your excuses are cut short as you see 2 things :
- A brownish little dragon intently fixing you in the eyes
- The ink bottle coming back on the bench on its own.
"Don't worry, I have an efficient clean-up crew and don't mind Drake here, he's very friendly and very not hungry; ate a week ago if I remeber well" the man says with an amused tone taking you out of your stuppor.
"A...week...ago...?" you ask sheepishly. (What do you know of this kind of dragon after all!)
"Yes, a dozen mountain goats if I remember well, he won't need another meal for another week at least."
You wonder how can a dozen mountain goats can fit in this diminutive creature.
"Don't let his size trick you, dragons are champion shapeshifters. He's a lot bigger in his normal size." says the man as he keeps on clearing the bench.
"How big?" you ask.
"Compared to us, he's a mountain!" answers the wizard.
You suddenly hear in your mind a strange amused voice :
~
A scrawny one you've let in today Kell. And young also at that! Curious too I'll bet!~
The wizard laugh as he pours you a glass of a clear reddish liquid after setting a plate of fruits on the bench.
"They're all young to us, my friend, we're old timers you and I. I suspect you weren't any less curious when you were young!"
The dragon lets out a snort of contenment at that last remark, but nonetheless fixes you still.
~
You're probably from Earth. Strange and polluted place that world, never know what disease you'll get once you get there!~
"Don't listen to him son, he's grumpy today!" reassures the wizard.
He invites you to sit on the stool next to you. He lets you take a sip of your drink. (It's actuelly very good, but you can't identify the taste.)
"So, how can I help you son?"
